so, while Daniel Butterworth has paintings gracing the walls of gallery one this month, he also has a work in the Percival Portrait Award currently in Townsville, Queensland. the judge for the award, Barry Pearce who is emeritus curator at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, gave a floor talk on some of the works that he thought stood out - and amongst them is Daniel's self portrait.
