developing the kyneton art scene

the local council for kyneton, the macedon ranges shire, is keen to provide assistance and support the growing art scene in the town. piper street now has four galleries, with a sign on the window of a shop front that's currently being renovated at the moment, advising a fifth is on the way. it's truly becoming an arts precinct.

so, for those of you in Kyneton, interested in meeting with artists, thinking about maybe finding studio spaces, contemplating different art projects around the place ... here's the callout from the arts officer:

There's some amazing spaces around Kyneton and some very interesting artists in the area, so who knows what plans we could concoct? Arts festival ideas, studio hub locations, crit groups, collaborative art groups, skill sharing - so many possibilities.
