winner of last year's Stockroom Prize was local artist Michael Needham. he also recently exhibited a cast gravesite with us for the dark matter_dark energy show which was a very popular piece. and now he has a solo show with his gallery down in the city - you should totally check it out because he is amazing. and he keeps getting amazinger by the minute. next month he's off on an australia council residency to rome for pete's sake!
