Thursday in the workshop
One of things I've really enjoyed about working at Stockroom is seeing all the work that goes on behind the scenes. Magali teaches herself software code and builds our website, and designs our graphics. Lucy interviews our makers for this blog, and is busy getting her art into magazines and exhibiting all over the place. And Jason often hammers and tinkers away in the workshop making furniture and building shop fittings for the warehouse and for commissions. It's a hub of activity and it's great to be around. It's motivating too. Anyway, I wanted to capture a little bit of that vibe, so here's a random section of time on a pretty average Thursday, out in the Stockroom Workshop. It's Jason hand-painting a business sign. Artistic dedication. He doesn't like to make a fuss about it ... but I will.
