Another cool exhibition will start at Stockroom this Saturday...
Lost and Found is a joint exhibition by Victorian industrial designers David Sevior and Ross Gardam.
David has a studio at Stockroom, having recently relocated to Kyneton from Melbourne. Ross is a Melbourne-based designer whose company is Space Left. Both have worked together on many occasions.
The title and pieces within the show will represent the use - and ‘re-purposing’ - of existing and discarded materials and objects that would otherwise become landfill. On display will be a diverse range of furniture pieces, lighting products and intriguing inflatable structures that create playful interior spaces. All pieces and objects will utilise found and reclaimed materials and elements. There will also be a series of found vintage photography that captures a wide range of design and display events from yesteryear…
And look out for the Vintage Bakery Van that will be also be utilised within the space, to assist with the unique story of Lost and Found.
The show also complements the strong ‘lost and found’ design elements of Stockroom, an art space refashioned from Kyneton’s 1860s historic butter factory.
Stockroom directors Magali Gentric and Jason Waterhouse are very excited about this new show, and invite you attend the opening on September 11th, 4.30-7pm. Please rsvp to i@wolfatthedoor.com.au or (03) 5422 3215. Exhibition dates: September 11 - October 3.
