After just over a year, Wolf At The Door will close it's doors at Hepburn Springs and re-open in Kyneton, as part of the new Stockroom art complex in historic Piper Street.
Over the last 12 months Wolf At The Door has established itself as a strong regional advocate of makers culture - plus a design and art force to be reckoned with! And Wolf's vintage wares range was also very much a mainstay of the business, the Breakfast Bazaar a very popular monthly attraction for hundreds of collectors and locals alike.
Having featured in The Design Files, Trouble, Lost, Thaw, the Bendigo Advertiser, the Bendigo Miner, the Daylesford Advocate, ABC Radio Victoria, RRR-FM, The Age and Real Living Magazine over the past year, owners Magali Gentric and Jason Waterhouse are proud of Wolf's achievements - especially bringing the work of so many local and Melbourne-based makers and artists to the region. They are enthusiastic about continuing the Wolf At The Door brand as part of Stockroom, reinventing it as Wolf At The Door Vintage.
Wolf At The Door Vintage will occupy the beautifully designed, purpose-built mezzanine floor at Stockroom. Quality second-hand vintage wares from all over Australia and interstate have been carefully collected by enthusiast Jason Waterhouse, who will expand the range to fulfill a growing demand.
The remaining pieces of Wolf's art, design and makers stock will be absorbed into Stockroom proper, also expanding into a much bigger space. The aim is to now stock far more work from each designer and maker, given Stockroom's expansive floor space!
A moving party will happen on Sunday August 29, 5-7pm, at Wolf At The Door, 113 Main Road, Hepburn Springs - to say thank you to all of you, Wolf's loyal clientele. There Magali and Jason will be able to tell you more about expanding Wolf At The Door into Stockroom.
